Day 1: Transfer to Cairo, Cairo sightseeing
Our Alexandria and Cairo tour will start with pick up service from your ship terminal in Safaga port, where our REP will meet you with aboard reflecting your name, then from Safaga port you will be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada airport for 1 hour flight to Cairo. There you will be accompanied by private Egyptologist guide and have first step of your Cairo tour to Great Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the tombs of pharaohs constructed around 5000 years ago, and great Sphinx - guard of those tombs, with body of lion and human head. Lunch meal will be served during Cairo tour at a good quality local restaurant. Next sightseeing of your Cairo tour will be the Egyptian Museum with extensive collection of 120000 items of ancient Egyptian antiquities, famous by artifacts of the child king Tutankhamen's tomb, which was found mostly intact. Proceed your visiting Cairo tour to Old Cairo and see Coptic Monastery with Hanging Church. This area called "Complex of Three Religions", because there also set he mosque of Amr Ibn al-Asa, erected in the year 642, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, dating from the tenth century. Shopping to the famous bazaars. Free time in Cairo, then you will be transferred to your hotel to have rest and overnight stay. Day 2: Alexandria sightseeing, return back to Safaga port
Have breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then by private air-conditioned vehicle you will be driven to Alexandria, which was a center of Hellenism and also home to the largest Jewish community in the world. In Alexandria you will start your tour by visiting the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa found in 1900, dated from the second century A.D. and unique for their plan and for their decoration which is a mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman elements. Proceed Alexandria trip to visit the well-preserved Roman Theatre brought to light after 30 years of excavation work underneath a Muslim cemetery. Continue to visit El-Montazah palace finished in a fantastic Turkish-Florentine style by Muhammad Ali in the 19th century and park area covered with palm trees and gazelles. Free time in Alexandria, and then you will be driven to Cairo airport to fly back to Hurghada with following transfer to your ship terminal in Safaga port.
