Our Cairo tour will start with pick up service from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, where our REP will meet you with aboard reflecting your name, then you will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to Sharm El Sheikh airport for 1 hour flight to Cairo. There you will be accompanied by private Egyptologist guide and have first step of your Cairo tour to great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the tombs of pharaohs constructed around 5000 years ago and Great Sphinx - guard of those tombs, with body of lion and human head. Lunch meal will be served during Cairo tour at a good quality local restaurant. Next sightseeing of your trip is Memphis Necropolis, the oldest capital of Egypt and the legendary city of King Menes, who united Upper and Lower Egypt. In Memphis city you will visit huge cemetery of ancient Memphis, which was an active burial ground for more than 3500 years, final resting place for deceased pharaohs and their families, and is Egypt’s largest archaeological site. Also you will visit Sakkara - one section of the great necropolis of Memphis city, best known for the Step Pyramid, the oldest known of Egypt's pyramids, built for King Zoser. Free time for photos and camel ride. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo to have rest and overnight stay. You can attend light and sound show at Great Pyramids of Giza area or enjoy dinner cruise with belly dance show in the Nile River, as optional tours.
Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Alabaster Mosque, Old Cairo, fly to Sharm El Sheikh
Have breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and continue the second day of your Cairo tour with your private guide to visit the Egyptian Museum with extensive collection of 120000 items of ancient Egyptian antiquities, famous by artifacts of the child king Tutankhamen's tomb, which was found mostly intact. Lunch meal will be served during Cairo tour at a good quality local restaurant. Next visit of your Cairo tour will be Citadel. Originally, it is a fortification and was built on a promontory beneath of Muqattam hills, that make a amaizing view of city. This is one of the oldest castles in the world for centuries reflected the invasion of the conquerors. For seven centuries Citadel was the seat of the rulers of Egypt. One of the most striking sightseeing of the Citadel, of course, the Alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali. Architecture of the mosque - a mixture of many different styles and it's in sharp contrast with the strict structures of Mamluk era. Mosque - square in plan, the length of each side of 41 m. At the western facade of tower two cylindrical minarets in the Ottoman style, each 84 meters in height. In the inner space of the mosque is dominated Turkish Rococo style and interior wins by its dizzying volumes. Afterwards you visit Old Cairo and see Coptic Monastery with Hanging Church. The area called "Complex of Three Religions", because there also set the mosque of Amr Ibn Al Asa, erected in the year 642, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, dating from the tenth century. Then you will be driven to airport to fly back to Sharm El Sheikh with following transfer to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
